When a candidate has completed his/her application on the candidate portal and now he/she wants to change the sites which he/she had opted for the examination, but the portal did not allow him/her to do so. So how can he make a change
a. Exams and Aptitude Test Part I - PEBC for Evaluation of MCQs uses its site selections to estimate ability requirements. The candidate is not required to change his/her site selections made through the portal. When he receives an invitation to schedule a few weeks before the exam, he can choose whatever site is available.
b. Candidates cannot change their site selection for Qualifying Examination Part II (OSCE/OSPE). If he has moved since completing his application, he may email the PEBC statement of his position for consideration. Emails detailing specific circumstances are considered by PEBC on a case-by-case basis.
How can the candidate update his/her contact information
For Pharmacist- Log in to your portal account. To update your email address, click on your name in the top menu to open your profile. Candidates will see the option to update their email. To update his postal address and/or contact number he has to click on his name on the top menu to access his profile and then select 'Profile Field' in the menu on the left. There you will see your existing postal address and contact number to update the same.
What is the process of withdrawal of names by a candidate from the examination
For this, the candidate should send an email in which it is told that he wants to withdraw the name. What is the reason for the examination from which he is withdrawing. If he is eligible for a refund as per PEBC refund policies, please include his address and preferred currency for the refund. If he is writing a computer-based test, he must visit the Prometric website to request cancellation of his exam or call Prometric.
Can a candidate postpone his exam
No. The candidate has to withdraw from the exam for which he/she is currently approved and submit a fresh application and fee for the next exam he/she wants to write.
How can any candidate directly contact the registrar
The Registrar is not available for telephonic discussions or personal meetings with the candidates. Matters requiring the registrar's consideration may be documented in writing and sent to the registrar's attention by mail, fax or email.
